Hour of Coding

Today, we did coding to make shapes and make pictures. It was really fun but I was struggling. At the start it is easy but at the end it is really hard. I will do more of this and post it on my blog. My blog is nearly going to end because in about 1 week, I will be leaving Gilberthorpe School😖. So the website would give two fractions and you have to if it is greater, smaller or equal. I did 10 questions and got all of them... right! 😄  Here are the screenshots I took:

In 2017 I think I will be going to Kirkwood but I might be going to Burnside. I am kinda scared to go to intermediate. I will miss Gilberthorpe School, I wish Gilberthorpe went year 1 to year 8!

Hi I am back with some more maths. I did a quiz and got two wrong which gave me 90%! I thought is was really easy but I still got 2 wrong! I need to get better at my 8 time tables and 7 time tables. Here is my score:

As I said my next step is to get better at my 7 times table and 8 times tables.

Hi, welcome to term 4! This term will be my last term at Gilberthorpe School :(. This term I really want to get better at maths, handwriting and sports. Today, I went on Prototec ( Here's a link Prototec Link.) I went on stage 7 sheet, it was really hard for me because it had square roots and percentages and I never learned square root or percentages! I only got 22 out of 40! Here's the screenshot I took.

My next step is to learn fractions, percentages and square roots I will have to learn those next term. I did ok because I didn't even know square roots!

Today, I went Prototec stage 6 timed. Prototec really helps me in basic facts and I need to know basic facts because they are basic and easy and I need to know them. Prototec is one of my favourite math websites. Here are the screenshots I took:

I have to get better at the 1000's the other ones are good I have to practice my 1000's. My next step is being faster at doing basic facts.
